Traditional Beans from Crystal Young

1 can whole tomatoes
1 can pureed tomatoes
2 cans of your favorite beans (I use kidney or garbanzo)
3-4 lbs of your favorite frozen veggies
1 lb frozen collards
Your favorite starch (potato, sweet potato, rice, barley) cooked separate then added
Your favorite seasoning (can use fresh ginger, garlic)
*Place tomatoes in a large pot. Add 2 28 oz cans of water. Then add in all other ingredients. Bring to a boil and then simmer 15 minutes.
-Additional Info: Prepared in a large style pasta pot. Leftovers can be refrigerated or frozen. Low calorie and high in nutrient so you can eat all you want till you are comfortably full.
